For being in a progressive city this place has a lot of racist and prejudiced employee's, especially those with leadership positions. The main issue are with the leadership of the support staff, the Office Director hires her Caucasian friends with behavioral, drinking and drug problems but routinely causes issues with minority employee's to the point of harassment. Her standards for hiring minorities are much higher and expects them to behave a certain way at all times, be of a certain age or gender, meanwhile the Caucasian friends she likes to hire can be of any age or sex, they can disrespect other employees, harass other employee's, perform badly and... read full review

This is Grant Thornton's Global Public Sector Office which houses the government contracting consultants and auditors. The office is beautiful and the location is in a very nice part of Alexandria. The King Street metro (yellow line) is literally a three minute walk from the office. The office is just minutes away from King St. (aka, "Old Town") and there is a bus during lunch called the Lunch Loop Dash bus between 11:30am and 2pm that will take you there for free that you can pick up in front of the PTO. There are plenty of lunch options in the area but there are some nice restuarants and other options around King Street.
