Brian made all the preparations for my Father's body to be flown to Greece for the burial there, taking care of all required paperwork and flight needs. Excellent service and everything went smoothly.
My mom recently passed away at my home in Michigan and my mom had funeral arrangements in Virginia her home for the last 63 years. She had a prepaid funeral plan with Everly-Wheatley. I used the local funeral home to pick up my mom and prepare her for travel to Virginia. Everly-Wheatley made the process seemless for me as they coordinated the transport of my Mom back to Virginia and then arranged for a single payment to them. They also coordinated the date for my Mom to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband. They were professional, compassionate, and extremely helpful during this emotional process. This has been the funeral home of choice for my family. It was used for my grandmother's, stepdad's, and sister's funerals. I highly recommend them.
We were fortunate to enjoy my parents until they were well into their 90s. While my age would seemingly prepare me for both parents passing within the past 3 years, it did not. I very much appreciate the kind and thorough services offered by Brian Boisse and others at Everly-Wheatley. A pastor who had known my dad well for many years conducted a COVID-limited service coordinated by Brian for my dad in early 2020. As a veteran of WWII, my dad’s only request was that his coffin be draped with the American flag. Mr. Boisse arranged for the flag and he and a second employee folded it for us following the service. My mom was in memory care for the last years of her life and just passed in January 2023. Our attempts to line up a pastor did not work out. Brian identified Bart Purdy, a local Baptist minister, who spent time with our family learning about my mom. He then handled the service in a way that allowed our family to leave with as positive a feeling as possible under the circumstances. I highly recommend Everly-Wheatley and again thank all funeral home staff for their support.
