Drybar - Old Town Alexandria

Soooo I feel like my hairdresser was really rough on my hair and head. Very intense scrubbing when I had my hair washed. While my hair was wet she was dragging a comb through it, ripping out all the tangles which... Didn't love. Same story for while I was in the chair, I felt like my hair was being pulled off my head. And I'm not a sensitive scalp either! I also let the hairdresser know that it was my first time getting a blowout and didn't really know what I wanted. I was expecting, I dunno, maybe some kind of advice? But she wasn't very helpful and didn't really walk me through the process which I would have appreciated more since, once again, it was my first time. The end product was good, although I don't know if it was worth the price I paid.

Review Update: ever since I left that salon my hair has been breaking off and has not felt the same AGAIN.

I left with my hair feeling awful. My hair was drenched in hairspray making it so sticky and rough! I left with “Hollywood waves” that didn’t even bounce from how sticky it was. Took me 3 washes to get all that residue out. Excessively high heat was used for the hairstyle and the stylist was rough with my hair. With all the heat and spray my hair felt dry and sticky after. If you are thinking about coming there, this is your sign to go to a different hair salon!
