A death in the family is a shock no matter how long you have prepared for it. Demaine Funeral Home and their staff were incredibly supportive and attentive.during our time of sorrow. Whether it was a needed hug from the guys that picked up my mom, to how accepting and helpful Claudia and George are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and assistance in getting my Mom to her rest.

Death is hard. Having had a family member in eminent danger of passing, we contacted multiple funeral homes in the area. Some funeral homes would not even put the funeral director on the phone. Others wouldn’t give us pricing. Finally, we approached Demaine Funeral home in Alexandria. We were put in touch with George Rivera. From the first conversation with him, we realized he was the person we wanted to handle the details. I wish to express our family’s profound appreciation for the services rendered by all of the staff and especially Brandon Yeckel, General Manager at Demaine Funeral Home, Alexandria Virginia.My older sister, Betty (Elizabeth) Anne Dawson recently died following an extended illness. Her funeral was handled by Mr. Yeckel.I was Betty's legal guardian, but I live in the Seattle area. Betty's funeral was held in Alexandria.
