About Alexandria Health Care Center
Alexandria Health Care Center has provided reliable care for over 20 years, with a focus on patient health. The facility offers in-network lab work conducted in the office, saving patients time and trips to different locations. Patients have praised the staff, especially PA Montana and her medical assistant Valentina, for their kindness and thorough care. The office is located in an older, well-maintained building with an elevator, and the quiet atmosphere and fish tank help create a calm environment. Patients appreciate the professionalism of the staff and doctors, particularly Dr. Leslie Brandwin, who is described as patient, kind, funny, and dedicated to finding answers when others may not. While check-in and wait times are reasonable, some feedback noted issues with the patient notification system and access to the patient portal, which initially lacked complete information. Overall, the center is valued for attentive care, knowledgeable doctors, and convenient services.
Had a great experience at Alexandria Health Care Center for my medical check-up. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. The facility was clean, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for quality care!
I’ve been using this team for 20+ years. Excellent care, administratively so so. Care most important. They also do in-network lab work in the office so you don’t have to go to another location! Big plus!
If you use Waze to get to the location it will get you very close but it's up to you to pinpoint which building. Waze apparently doesn't tell you which building, but if you arrive early you will be fine. The office is in an older building and has an elevator. The building is maintained well. It's very quiet once you're inside. The check in process is very typical and nothing out of the norm. The wait times are very reasonable. The staff and doctors are professional. The patients are orderly and quiet as they wait. There's a huge fish tank to keep you entertained. I especially appreciate Dr. Leslie Brandwin. He's a winner. He's the type of doctor we all need and want when we are trying to figure out what's wrong with us because apparently no doctor has ever seen what you have before. He is patient, kind, funny, and willing to roll up his sleeves. If you are serious about your health and finding out what is plaguing you and other doctors are dragging their tired feet; go see dr. Brandwin. I'm scheduled for testing now that most doctors never prescribe. He's also willing to listen to your ailments to try and see what matches illnesses. I'm thankful for that. Regarding the running of the office, I would appreciate a more streamlined patient notification process. I was never provided a link to the patient portal and after my second visit I called and was told there isn't one. Then after a brief hold I was told there is one. When I tried to access it based on the url verbally provided, it was a generic portal for doctors looking to employ a patient portal, not for current patients. Then I did receive the correct link via email and gained access to their patient portal. Unfortunately my history was blank. It showed my two visits but that was it. There were zero labs, notes, etc. what good is a blank patient portal?
