Dr Davis is knowledgeable, competent, caring. My eye had some infection, and because I was busy, I just grabbed previous medication and started using it. After a week or so, the other eye got infected also. I finally went to see Dr Davis. The old med I had used complicated the picture, making it tricky for him to figure out. I could see him, contemplating how to decide. He finally turned to me, explaining the factors, telling what he decided and why. He sent me home, advising me to use preservative-free eye drops only, that he felt it was a viral infection, and had likely run its course. I've been a patient at Davis Vision for almost 10 years, with three different doctors. My first doctor relocated, so currently I am seeing Dr. Phan who is bright, positive, thorough and friendly. She is attentive but efficient and my visits are always pleasant. While she was away this week, I needed an emergency visit and Dr. Holmes saw me. He was excellent and fit me in between visits. His exam was thorough and his treatment plan seems to be helping already. The office staff are courteous and the space is clean and bright.

I had the PRK procedure about a month ago after 18 years of using glasses and contact lenses with -10 D. Dr. Davis took the time to explain the procedure, risks, and goals and make sure I understood and was comfortable with everything that was going to happen. The surgery was very smooth and quick. I’m still in the recovery period, but everything has been going very smoothly, highly recommended!
