About Urgent Care at Westridge Health Center
U of U Health Westridge Urgent Care is a medical facility that offers quick and friendly service for patients. Many patients have praised the attentive nurses and personable doctors who listen carefully and provide helpful treatment recommendations. The clinic is known for its efficient process, with patients often being seen within minutes and leaving with prescriptions already prepared, making visits smooth and convenient. Patients appreciate the professional staff, including front desk personnel and nurses, who take the time to do things like wait for blood pressure to relax before measuring it, which is not always common at other clinics. The medical staff, including nurse practitioners and the PA, are described as smiling, attentive, and engaging, making patients feel comfortable and cared for. While most experiences are positive, some have faced billing issues, especially for out-of-state patients or those with insurance not accepted by the clinic. There have been reports of unexpected out-of-network charges and difficulties resolving billing problems, although the clinic has been responsive at times by waiving balances. Overall, U of U Health Westridge Urgent Care provides quality medical care with friendly staff and prompt service, though patients should be aware of potential billing complications, especially if they are not local or have insurance issues.
Everyone was extremely nice and took my concern seriously. I thought I was going to come in and have to advocate for better care but I didn’t have to because they ruled out every possible reason for my illness. Thank you all!
Wait time was short. After I checked in, I want only one to two minutes before I was taken back. The doctor took the time to listen and help me understand a new medication. He knew that it could conflict with another medication, if I took them both at the same time. He explained how to take my meds. Great experience, besides all the pain.
I had this horrible cough and could hardly breathe. I was worried about going in because what will they tell me besides have a cough drop and get some rest? I was pleasantly surprised how seriously they took my condition and I was provided quick relief through a breathing treatment that I've never even heard of before, and then given an inhaler to help moving forward. I was just a walk-in but they saw me so quickly and it was a quick in and out as well!
