On top of that, she went above and beyond to help calm my nerves, giving me a little massage while doing my hair, which was such a thoughtful touch on such a big day. My hair and makeup turned out beautifully and lasted the entire day.

Nikra did such an amazing job with my bridal hair and makeup. I wouldn’t consider myself to be much into the hair and makeup scene so when I showed Nikra some references that I thought I might want to look like she quickly got us on the right track. What I appreciated about her quality and professionalism is that she truly strived to really understand what I was going for without just being a “yes” woman - to be honest if she did that, for me, I would’ve had the wrong look and would’ve been overly glammed! She asked all the right questions and made sure to keep my makeup looking naturally elevated for a big day such as my wedding without overdoing it. And as a bonus experience, she’s genuinely a great person to talk to and get to know. I have wanted for years to have an expert help me with makeup. I am like many people--I have a lot of makeup that sits in a drawer because I couldn't really get any kind of result I wanted. Now that I'm in my 70's, I decided to give this gift to myself. I am happy to say I picked the right person and just wish I had done it sooner! For my daughter’s wedding, she and I went to NC Studio for our hair and makeup. We did A LOT of research online before choosing someone, and Nikra did not disappoint. Our hair and makeup was beautiful and flawless and actually lasted all day. She was very accommodating and started us at 8:30 AM. At the end of the day, 11pm, everything still looked perfect and my updo hadn’t budged. I would use NC Studio again for an event, they were awesome and so fun!
