We ran into issues with a closed account and the only way to resolve the issue was to talk a financial advisor. Through Morgan Stanley central customer service, we were referred to different offices and advisors, none of which answered their phones or shifted the call to an admin person. I take some solace in the fact that the advisors/offices wouldn't answer calls from their own customer service people when they tried them -- apparently their lack of response extends beyond clients.
Follow Up: Richard Potashner did return the call and was fantastic. One Star for the Company and five stars for Richard shifts the rating to a three.
