The atmosphere of Lucero Hair and Wellness is so cozy and welcoming and everyone inside is very friendly. I initially chose Jem because I loved their work, but I stuck with them because they are a true artist that understands my vision for my hair every time. I can't recommend Lucero and Jem enough!
I’m nonbinary and super particular about my hair and usually do it at home, but unfortunately don’t have the skills of a professional. I’m also an out of state student and this is the only place in the country i actually trust! Truly cannot recommend enough, especially for queer and alternative people. The service is great and if you show up with reference pictures they’ll DELIVER! prices are also super reasonable imo
Shy was incredible! I was amazed when we started talking and they instantly understood what I was going for. They talked me through all the products they were using, all of which were specifically picked for what my hair needed at the moment. This is a great place to have curls, I never felt like my curly hair was being treated as though it was straight like it has been at so many salons. My hair feels so much lighter and softer, and the haircut was exactly what I wanted + needed.
