I called Lee’s because they had great ratings online and my AC had gone out. I spoke with Bryana over the phone who quickly got me on the schedule and had a technician out the same day to fix the issue. I’d highly recommend using this company as their customer service is friendly and efficient. I was also impressed by their quick turnaround time on resolving the issue.

$4,000 labor charge. That’s how much SameDay wanted to charge to replace a warrantied part! New A/C installed in 2019 by Lee’s which is now part of SameDay. Compressor goes an out and now Same Day won’t stand by Lee’s labor guarantee. Just the part. Beware, there is an investment group that bought over a dozen HVAC companies in Salt Lake area and those company’s labor charges have drastically increased because of the new investor. Found several other HVAC places that were happy to replace the warrantied part for substantially less. Just watch, someone will respond to this review saying that “they will investigate so that they can improves customer service” but that’s just lip service and certainly won’t help me out.

I’m not sure what has happened to the service at Lees, I’ve been doing business with them on three properties for probably 15 years and it’s always been absolutely excellent. I called today to try and figure out why the tuneups haven’t been scheduled. They had no information of any of my properties asked me all kinds of questions about what kind of units I had on the properties.(Units that have installed themselves and maintained for 15 years) they knew nothing about the service contracts I have. When asked if I was actually talking to Lee or one day heating and air got a really vague answer. Where are Jen, Dustin, Jake and people that know the account?? I finally got the appointment scheduled, but only after being told how much it was gonna cost me which I said no I paid for this five years in advance. Skeptical… very…

Lee's has been sold to Same Day Heating and Air. They still answer the phone as Lee's, so don't be fooled like I was. Same Day will not honor the covered services or prices listed on the Lee's website. They charged me $199 for a 'tune up' and literally did not even change the air filter. Nothing was 'tuned up' at all, they just took some measurements and told me I needed to buy a new unit, despite my unit working fine.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Lee's over the years including the most recent one. Jake was knowledgeable and professional. Unlike other companies I have interacted with, they do not use scare tactics to try and push replacements. They find safe, simple solutions to problems to keep your system running smoothly.
