I called this number and was told the plumber on call would call me back. Vijay Kumer called me back. He also gave me a card saying the company name is Quality Affordable Pluming. He said he is the owner and has a plumber for 25 years and would get our clog cleared for $575. The first snake he tries wasn't long enough so he said it would cost $160 more to use another machine that's long enough. He wanted to charge because the first tool was not long enough. He said he couldn't put a camera down to look because with the water he couldn't see. That couldn't clear the clog. He told me I need to water jet it that will be $1250. I told him I don't have that kind of money. He said okay you know what I will not charge more because I can't leave you like this, it needs to be done. He can back the next day and his hose got stuck in our pipe. He told me now he has to dig and that will be $5000. I told him I told have $1250, so I definitely don't have $5000. He told me I could have me kids go to work to help me pay for this and he could help me get a loan. I said excuse me, he said they need to help their mom out. I told him I couldn't afford that, he said you will have to pay someone to do it. He cut his hose leaving 100 feet of it in my clogged pipe and left. I called action plumbing who got the hose out in 20 minutes with a chain gone along, guess what no digging my pipe up for $5000. They didn't even have to dig it up to clear the clog. They even used a camera to find out how far out the clog was. Guess what the basement had flooded even more with the hose in my pipe. Also when he used my outside faucet he broke my air conditioning line, action plumbing fixed it. Stay away.Update Vijay contacted me to have me remove my review and to see if he could pick up the hose he left in our pipe. I informed him I wouldn't remove this post and I don't have the hose. I also informed him my home owners insurance is involved with this now. He replied with that's fine I have 3 million dollar insurance. PLEASE CALL A DIFFERENT PLUMBER!!!!

We bought a new furnace from Intermountain in 2015. The Technicians told us we would get a high efficiency furnace for the cash price we were paying. I just had an H-Vac professional service our “high efficiency furnace”, and they told us we got the cheapest, lowest efficiency model available. Life expectancy of 4-5 years. I don’t recommend these guys.

Incredible service AND some free education. Ask for Keith Tovar if you can. He talked me through everything he did, as he was doing it, and explained the ins and outs of what's good and bad for one's household plumbing. This is honest, reliable service at its finest. I'm only calling these guys from now on.

Rip Off - Charged me $1600 to dig a 5 Ft. sq. hole to access a leak at a sprinkler stop and waste and $768 to replace a 4 ft. section of pipe from a T to the stop and waste valve. Move on and find someone else and get estimates. BTW they are changing their name to Affordable Plumbing or going by both. obviously their reputation is catching up with them. Do not use either one - same people.

This company uses the psudonym "Affordable Plumbing" offering "Commercial, Residential, Installation, Service" in Salt Lake, Weber, and Davis County. It's hard to know where they really work out of as the invoice shows they are out of Sandy but nothing I can find online shows that as their business address. Assume that's where their business office has their mail sent. Bottom line, no real complaints with the service. It was good quality work although the plumber showed up later than the 2-hour window he said he'd arrive at my house. That is maddening when you have a job and take time off from that job and they don't arrive on time. My wife hired a plumber to install a new toilet. To be fair, he removed the old toilet, assembled the new toilet from the Lowe's box, and then installed it. My estimate, this would take a semi-skilled plumber an hour, tops. The installation was good, no complaints. However, the price for that hour of work was $278.50. Roughly 50% more than a psychologist makes. I should also add we asked for an estimate for 2 toilets to be installed. That estimate was $557. Over half a grand for 2 toilets? Come on guys, this is price gouging at it's finest. If we're outside your normal service distance, then tell us that up front rather than gouging us. Or just don't accept service calls from this far away. Affordable plumbing.... isn't. One star for a well-installed toilet. -4 stars for a clear case of price gouging.

This company is HORRIBLE!! I had a clogged drain and they came out and tried to snake the drain, it did not work so they recommended running a jet hose down the line at the cost of a little more than $400 and the work was guaranteed. It started having the same problem the next day and they came out but I could tell the technician was not happy when I started asking out their guarantee. It was still having not completely fixed so the next step was to put a camara down the line but that would cost another almost $800!! I did not do it and continued having problems. I called another company, Any Hour Plumbing and they put a camara down the line for $49. This company will rip you off when you are in a bind!!! I have tried to call the owner, Vijay and he will not call me back!

First off we needed some roots cut out of our sewer line. They said to just run a new sewer line from the house to the sidewalk. Quoted me $3856.31 for a whole new line. Gave him CC# to hold the funds then said would they wouldn't charge my card til job was completed. They RAN MY CARD FOR A COMPLETED TRANSACTION AMOUNT OF $3856.31!!!! Employee Steve Fenstermaker showed up 3 days after he charged my CC. When they got here at 11pm with the cheap & thin green pipe I didn't feel good about it. I told my husband to cancel this job from starting the next day at 8am. We cancelled but here we are 10 days after the CC charge went through.....waiting for a refund!!! Vijay will have a dispute on his hands to clear up with us or we will be seeing him in a small claims lawsuit. Hoping the refund is going through like he told us. Now just watching our account...giving it 5 business days. Not pleased at all about this. What a total stressed out 10 miserable days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys are OUTSTANDING. My wife and I woke up Sunday Morning to a flood in our kitchen that had spread under the walls and gone into the next room. We called a few other companies looking for some help and no-one could come. Intermountain Plumbing & Drain told us it would be no problem. Keith called me in the next half hour and send he'd be there as soon as he could. When he arrived he was friendly listened to all my questions and solved the problem in minutes. He even stayed to chat about some washer hookup issues we had. Keith was great!!Highly recommend these guys!!

They came within 3 hours of calling. Michael was able to fix our toilet very well. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I am happy with the repair. However, two days later, I just found out he charged me $200 more than he probably should have for the little amount of work he had to do to fix it. Rip off! My mom had them do almost the same thing he did and she was charged $200 less.
