About Gibson Engineering & Computers
Based on the reviews, Gibson Engineering & Computers is a repair shop where Shawn provides knowledgeable and skilled service for fixing outdated and sophisticated electronic equipment. Shawn has a great personality and is extremely detail oriented, getting down to the root cause of issues quickly. He is set up to repair just about anything, including items that most are scared to touch. For example, he replaced LEDs in a Yukon Denali hybrid mirror and repaired a subwoofer amp for 60$, saving the customer from buying a new 300$ amp. He also fixed a sophisticated switching power supply from a Swiss scientific instrument on the fly, saving the customer about 2500$. Another customer was blown away with his skills when he fixed an ecu, saving them from ordering a new one from Japan. Customers are forever thankful for the money saved and the shared knowledge. They will continue to come back and use Gibson Engineering going forward, glad they found the business when they did.

He soldered them in for me, and now it's back up and running. The amp is 300$ new. With the parts, and the small charge for his labor, the fix cost me 60$, saving me a lot.
I'm glad I took it here to someone who knows what they're looking at. If I'd done the repair myself, it would've likely...read full review
