I’ve been to a lot of barbers, but Tru the Barber is on a whole different level. Every cut is clean, detailed, and exactly how I ask for it—no shortcuts, no rushed work. You can tell he really takes pride in his craft and makes sure you walk out looking sharp every time.
The vibe is always solid too—professional but still chill, makes you feel comfortable the whole time. If you’re looking for consistency, skill, and someone who actually listens to what you want, Tru is the one to go to.

I follow Ricky and Richard on ig and it’s been very inspiring. I wanted to become a barber since my first baby was born. ‘16? Ricky spoke about gatekeeping and I’ve messaged him about seeing if there’s any programs that help with to become a barber. I’ve yet to hear back.
