They came and did a good job cleaning our wood burning stove. It's a 2 story house with a basement, which is where the stove was. He got up on the roof in the middle of a blizzard. Our chimney is very tall, maybe 25-28 feet, but somehow they were able to clean the entire length of it.They put down tarps and used filtered suction equipment, which made for very little dust and no mess.

We have been noticing that the brick chimney on our house looked like it needed tuck pointing. We wanted to make sure that we would get a quality repair. They did a great job cleaning the firebox and chimney. I'm now confident in using our wood burning fireplace. They also informed us and took photos of the mess left in our gutters by another company that had redone the stucco on our chimney. The result of that work left the seal on our chimney cap broken, which A.B. Richards repaired for a reasonable fee. The cleaning fee was exactly what was quoted over the phone and warranted for the professionalism and responsiveness provided.
