We joined the teen/adult classes, and the mix of ages makes it a great fit for both of us. Neither of us feel out of place. They also have separate classes for younger kids and advanced students, so everyone gets the right level of instruction.
From day one, I’ve been hooked. I attend every class I possibly can, even if my daughter can’t make it. I already have my sights set on joining the more advanced classes someday because the training is just that good!
Joe Perry is an incredible instructor. He has a fantastic balance of discipline and fun, making sure every student stays on task while keeping the energy high and the atmosphere welcoming. He works so well with students of all ages and skill levels, and I know I’ll continue to be challenged in his classes for years to come. In just a few weeks, I’ve already seen my daughter progress so much!
A personal note: I actually took karate lessons from Joe when I was a kid. He was just starting out as an instructor back then, and even at a very young age, he was an outstanding teacher. I truly believe that training with him changed the trajectory of my life by instilling discipline, confidence, and respect - values that have stuck with me ever since. So when my daughter said she wanted to start martial arts, I knew exactly where we were going.
If you’re considering martial arts training, for yourself or your child, The Dojo is the place to go. I can’t recommend it enough!“
