It's very clear to me Mike cares about every dog that comes through his class. He was so good about catering each level of training to the dogs and their behaviors and responses. He takes notes to help us throughout and will not let us leave until he's confident the digs will avoid the rattlesnakes. I greatly appreciate his patience and attention to the dogs and making sure our best friends stay safe on the trails

My dog Margie took Mike’s rattlesnake aversion class in 2019. This weekend, 6 years later, she finally got to test out her skills. We were up Millcreek Canyon, walking the paved road of Porter Fork, and she was on a loose leash to my right. About 2 feet to my left was a rattlesnake, coiled up, rattling. Margie stayed on my right, keeping me between her and the snake, and ignored the snake completely. I have no doubt that prior to training she would have wanted to approach and explore the snake. Thank you Mike for your excellent training!

This is a very beneficial class if you live in ut. My puppy was bitten in May by a great basin rattlesnake and it was tough getting her down the mountain for help. We ended up spending over 6,000 in hospital bills. Antivenin and pet er services are not cheap. I knew she needed training for us to go hiking again. This class is very affordable $200 with what is taught and patience for all different types of dogs in the class They use a few different species and focus allot on smell and put the snakes in different areas to act out live situations. Mike is the trainer, he was so good with all the dogs and made sure they all mastered it even if some dogs took longer than... read full review
