I like Cynthia and been going in for a couple years now. I sent my girlfriend in there to get a cut and color. She had done her hair before and did a good job. This time my girlfriend asked her how much was it gonna cost for the cut and color and it seemed like Cynthia got an attitude. She just wanted to make sure she had enough money including the 40 I gave her to tip. Well Cynthia seemed rough with her while she was doing her highlights. Way too rough. Cynthia cut the dead ends off but didn’t shape her hair at all. Then she said it would be 35 more dollars to dry her hair on top of the 300 we paid. Oh and the 40 dollar tip that I wished she hadn’t given to her. So 300 for cut, highlights and a money piece. Just a streak. Which is fine but damn at least do it right and dry her hair. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what because she is usually nice but you can’t treat your customers like this just because they ask how much it will be. NEVER GOING BACK!

I came to The Mane Hair Salon hoping for a great experience but was incredibly disappointed. I booked highlights with Cynthia, but she seemed rushed and distracted the entire time. The result was just okay — definitely nothing special or worth the cost. To make matters worse, she told me there was an extra charge just to blow-dry my hair, so I declined and went home to finish it myself.
This was supposed to be a rare treat for myself, but instead, it felt like a waste of time and money. If you’re looking for someone professional who can create a relaxing experience, look elsewhere. Cynthia does not deliver on either front.

I m very happy I found Cynthia. I went there for highlights and haircut. She did amazing job turning my bad hair to gorgeous hair. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of great highlights and hairstyles. She is also super nice and gives you styling tips. Definitely coming back to this place again.

We were told Cynthia was really good at cutting curly hair. But she's not. Keep in mind SHE DOES NOT HAVE CURLY HAIR. Even if she is "good" at cutting curly hair, she was very very rude. I when we walked in she sat me down and immediately started cutting my hair. She didn't even ask what I wanted or tell me what she wanted to do. I have had to cut my hair for the past few years and I'm obviously not amazing but it looked pretty good before I went in there. But while she was cutting my hair she started bashing my hair cut "whoever did your hair doesn't know how to cut hair but luckily I can" and things that. Especially how bad my layers were. She decided that I didn't look good with bangs and told me that they looked really bad and I needed to grow my hair out. Once she washed and cut my hair, I had seen how much she had cut off. She had thinned my hair out so much I looked like a wet dog. There was a bunch of hair on the top of my head and like almost none on the bottom. It looked absolutely horrible. Once she started styling my hair to be curly, she started giving me tips on how to do my hair, which was absolutely horrible and wrong, she started telling me I needed to finger my curls a certain way so they were "looser". She even was criticizing how I did my hair when I came in. Because my curls didn't look good with my face shape. I literally almost tarted crying but I thought she would actually cut my hair good and give me good advice. Once I got home I started sobbing. My hair looked horrible. She cannot cut curly hair. I cried for 2 days because my hair is my favorite feature. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

She's reasonably priced and I love my haircut! She gave me great, quick stying tips that actually work. Everyone loves my haircut. I'm sticking with Mane Hair.
This hair salon is the BEST!! I really appreciate how thorough Cynthia’s knowledge of haircut styling is. The level of expertise, that is. She is very thoughtful and considerate to all of her clients. My haircut is always done phenomenally. Worth EVERY penny and more!
