Been taking both my dogs here for about 5 years — thousands of dollars spent, always loyal, never once a “thank you for trusting us.” Not even a tiny one.

Over time, the disorganization,often poorly executed reminders, and lack of clear communication from front desk started to wear on me. At my most recent call in and visit for an ear infectio, I’ll admit — I was frustrated. But I didn’t yell, didn’t cuss, didn’t make a scene. I was just a tired pet parent trying to advocate for my dogs and understand what was going on.
Instead of anyone trying to understand why I felt that way or to address the concerns I had, the response was basically, “If you don’t like it, then we won’t be your vet anymore.”

If a clinic says they care about their clients, maybe show some compassion when a loyal one finally speaks up? It shouldn’t take superhuman composure to be heard — especially after years of trusting them with my pets and my wallet. Our animals deserve attentive care… and the humans paying for it deserve a little respect, too.

The Doctor's there are amazing, they treat you dog in front of you. I just had to put my dog Duke down... after months at another prominent Vet in Wylie who strung me along for over 2 months with tests and medication well over $2K... It took Lake Lavon $300 to do a biopsy and let me know the truth. Duke is gone now, but some of it could have been prevented. I wish I knew about them sooner! Highly Recommended. All my other dogs will be going there now...

I brought my bunny in for a routine concern and this was the best vet experience I've ever had! The team was so quick and we were able to be seen in no time at all, they handled my bunny with so much care and I could tell they knew what they were doing. Dr. Lamping was so attentive and was able to help diagnose and provide a very affordable treatment plan (and even added cherry flavoring to his meds in consideration of my bunny's taste buds LOL). It has been really challenging to find a rabbit vet near me that isn't an expensive emergency vet, and Lake Lavon is going to be my bunny's go to from now on. They also have a great text-messaging system where you can ask follow up questions and alleviate any concerns- post visit. I truly had such a great experience here and I recommend it to anyone struggling to find a great and affordable rabbit vet!

Dr. Lamping and his staff are incredible! We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Lamping for over 10 years and would never go anywhere else! They take their time with our dogs and are so thorough and caring!

Yesterday I brought my Snazuner to him convinced he had something stuck in his Throat!..The Dr. Gave a careful exam..ask me lots of questions..thing was He didn't have anything stuck but actually had Bronchitis..a cough with phlegm!..Who knew Dogs ever had colds..so instead of running up my bill with x Ray and unnecessary test..he was given antibiotics steroids and a shot!Before the day was done..no more cough and my dog feels like a Million !..this is not my first time he saved me.everytime Iam so Happy!

What a wonderful experience! My big dog and small rabbit both get care here after moving from out of state. My dog used to be terrified of the vet but he loves it here! They are so caring and considerate of getting them taken care of. I love the affordability of the care plan, and the online chat option rather than adding another phone call to my to do list. Definitely give them a try!

Helped us with an emergency and saved our guinea pig. The doctor and staff were all very caring and compassionate. Our 5 yr old guinea pig survived her sickness and now active and looking healthy. Would highly recommend this place.

Dr.Lamplin & Tammy were AMAZING with my Shiba Inu! They listened to all my concerns and they were both so patient and informative. Very grateful!
