I’m a blue belt and in the Air Force for tech school training, and I just started training at Red River Jiu Jitsu after coming from Las Vegas. I’ve been really impressed.

Everyone is welcoming, no ego, and the environment is solid. The fundamentals class was great clear, detailed instruction with real attention to the basics, even for someone with experience. I picked up some good details right away. Then we went into rolling, and the rounds were solid good pace, technical, and everyone was respectful.

The coaches were great knowledgeable, helpful, and really dialed in on details during both instruction and live rounds.

I dropped in while visiting the area based on some local recommendations, and I can honestly say this was one of the best gym experiences I’ve had in my 7 years of training. If I lived in the area, I would immediately call this place home gym.

There’s a great mix of competitors and hobbyists, and everyone shares a strong sense of camaraderie...read full review

I was in town for work and had the chance to drop in here for about two weeks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From day one, everyone was incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of the community right away.
The coaching and attention to technique really stood out, you can tell there’s a strong emphasis on doing things the right way, not just going through the motions. The overall level of the gym is impressive, with a great mix of skill levels that pushes you to improve while still being supportive.
It’s not always easy to find a place that balances high quality training with such a friendly inclusive atmosphere...read full review
