I normally don't take the time to write reviews. Classroom portion of driving school was fine, however, the in-car driving training SCHEDULING is a disaster. We are having to wait an average of 3 weeks for each in-car lesson, and the scheduling process is a nightmare. While the receptionist is no doubt doing her best, the whole scheduling process is SLOW and archaic when they actually answer the phone. The instructors are generally good, but it's nearly impossible to get an in-car driving lesson! Never, ever leave an in-car driving lesson without scheduling the next one. I stick with ADS for convenient location only.
I would never want their jobs but they do it and for an affordable rate. There are a 1000 reasons to not be your child's ONLY driving teacher. Yes you schedule only a few lessons at a time but every week is different anyway and I have NEVER not had at least 2 lessons available after our LATE school release in a week available for driving as well as the second hour for observing. Highly recommend the driving portion here.
We had a great experience! My son got his lessons at Westlake ADS and yesterday he got 100% on his final driving test. As soon as he finished his driving test, they helped me out and told me to head over to the DMV. We did, we waited and we expect his DL in 2 weeks. In a fast moving world, you sometimes need patience and things will come through. We could have finished way earlier but we had travel. The school gives you enough time to finish. Mr. Thomas was nice & a great teacher. He has been doing this for years. Alyssa is a great receptionist. She guided me through the process and was very helpful & patient. Thank you ADS!
