I would like to take the opportunity to thank Carla and Mark McCaleb, with McCaleb Funeral Home for helping make our Mother's, Maria Cavazos, funeral services so special. Carla's attention to detail for setting up a celebration of her life was beyond what we expected. Her warm disposition made her easy to talk to, and she was available, just a text away. She would respond as soon as she could. She suggested ideas, such as including some of my mom's recipes because she had been a baker at WISD, and she designed some beautiful recipe cards for all who came.The music, slides, banners, memory books, and copies of some of Mom's recipes gave it a warm touch that accomplished...read full review

Our Mother wanted us to remember her for the joy in her life surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mark and Carla are amazing. truly have a heart for peopls. I lost my wife June 6 of 2023 and I was invited to a grief share group at first I didnt what to expect or even wanted to participate and now I Thank God for this group it has help me so much through this time.
