For the last 5 -6 years we have found Double L to be dependable, within a reasonable price, prompt and efficient and we highly recommend. Last week we had Seth out to check our water heater -said he saw an arc nearby and problem was wiring and I should call electrician. I called Berkey's who sold me on a new breaker, but thought real problem was the water heater itself, and didn't see an arc, assured me if breaker tripped again, it was safe to flip back on and hope it stayed. He was nice but I was sure he wasn't really trained to deal with the problem. So much for my $500+ to Berkey's.!had Double L out again Scott also saw the spark, checked under the house and found the wiring problem. I believe their workmen are of the kind that will keep on the job until they can find what is wrong. I will get a different electrician out this time. Last February during the big freeze nobody could take last minute calls, it seemed, so I had Benjqmin Franklin out. Got the plumbing snake stuck in the line, ran it all the way to the front of our big front yard, couldn't get it out, cut if off, left in line, and quoted $10,000 to redo the system under the house. Double L had a Hercules who literally with his own strength pulled it out. I will never forget Double L. They seem to me to be dependable, honest, hard workers - all the workers from Josie on the phone who was so helpful to me today - to Ron (who gave me HIS phone number) to Seth and Scott who know what a spark looks like - took a plumber to see what an electrician couldn't.
