We were truly lost as first time puppy owners and I don't care how many you tube videos you watch or articles you read there is nothing like having a skilled trainer in your home gently pointing out ways to improve what you are doing and taking the lead on getting your puppy to obey. We especially appreciated the reward approach as we had tried out someone else who was all about intimidation methodology. We would like to specially praise Robin for all of the hours he spent with Winston but also Kai and his team for the puppy class training. “Ward’s was wonderful with our out of control German Shepherd. My husband was not able to take him for walks because if he seen another animal , he would make a fool out of himself ( Gunner, not my husband).?.Anyway since being trained he is ? better. We took him today to get shots at TCAP, and wish I had business cards to pass out for Ward’s.“

“We have utilized Ellis County Pet Resort for both day care, both half and full days, and for overnight boarding, and our cocker spaniel absolutely loves it! He gets excited as soon as we exit the highway, and he heads back with their personnel without any coaxing. He loves the (supervised) interaction with other dogs and the attention from the staff. They group the dogs by size and provide covered areas for them to play to keep them out of the elements. There is plenty of water play during the hot summer. I have toured the facility (during the middle of a work day) and it is spotless! There isn't even an odor to indicate it is full of animals. We have also utilized their bath services and have been very pleased. I highly recommend Ellis County Pet Resort for anyone looking for a nice place for their fur family member.“
