H&S Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating truly came to our rescue today. When we moved into our home, we replaced both the indoor and outdoor HVAC units, so when our 5-ton heat pump started leaking at the outdoor coil, I first called the company that originally installed it since it was still under warranty. Unfortunately, they weren’t interested in repairing it and immediately tried to sell me a completely new $26,000 system, even pressuring me with a “next day installation” discount if I agreed on the spot.
Thankfully, my mom recommended H&S, and I’m so glad she did. They took the time to explain all of my options honestly and clearly. Not only did they quote me less than half of what the other company wanted for a full replacement, but they also offered a much more affordable repair option by replacing the outdoor coil under warranty and only paying for labor and freon. They were upfront that the repair was a temporary solution since the unit is already 8 years old and the warranty only lasts 10 years, but they never pressured me into buying something I didn’t need right now.
I chose the repair route for the time being, and we start saving to replace the entire unit with H&S in the future. I really appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and integrity throughout the entire process. It’s hard to find companies you can truly trust these days, but H&S treated us fairly and with respect from start to finish.
