Choctaw Industries quoted a wood fence replacement project for my Katy Home. They requested my check for $1400 down-payment on 11/30/2023 to purchase the material and promised to return the next day to install all new fence posts and explained that they would use screws to secure all new fence boards. Candace and Stew Sass are scam artists, and I'm so glad I did not hire them for all my planned projects. I am 71 years old and had saved for months to get these projects completed before I retire from work. $1400.00 is a lot of money to spend for absolutely nothing. The took down my dead tree. I was hoping for more firewood from it, but they either took it or disposed of it. I got one little pile then had to keep on them to come back and grind up stump. I had to pay in cash so waited till they came to go to bank. Didn't want that much in my house. Now I'm using another company to finish what they were going to do next and never gave me quote or returned calls. I wish I had used these guys from the start! Broke my lights said they bought new ones but never received them or heard from them after. Also was supposed to get a bunch of firewood but that never happen. They did trim the tree pretty good though.Service: Tree trimming & pruning
