Salon Asylum - Downtown Waco

I have been coming here a few years. I started with another stylist and have been with Emalee for quite a while. She genuinely cares about the integrity of my hair and my happiness before I walk out the door. She is kind and caring personally but also professionally. I have recommended her multiple time and refuse to go anywhere else. She is what makes this place the GO TO for me. If she ever left I would leave too.

Kathy Jo is absolutely amazing!!! I’m here on a work trip for research purposes for a month and was reluctant to find a salon I’d never been to for keratin and cut and highlights… My hair was a mess growing out from a pixie cut and home hair color… Hence, it had been a while since I’d been to a really good salon so needless to say, I felt very weary… not only is Kathy Jo the sweetest of humans, but she made me feel so special! She listened to all of my needs and gave the best suggestions… I can honestly say, this is the happiest I’ve been with my hair in a very long time! Stephany is THAT GIRL! For the first time in my life, I decided to switch salons since I moved away, and surprisingly, I left thinking about the next time i'd be back. Not only was Stephany super sweet, she was also VERY conscientious throughout my visit making sure I was happy with absolutely everything.

The Keratin treatment she used left my hair so soft and shiny, and when it came time for the hair cut and blowout, she took her time to ensure I got exactly what I wanted.
