“Eleven years ago, I learned about boudoir photography at a bridal expo and thought it would be the perfect wedding gift. I lost my nerve and never booked it. Fast forward 11 years, three kids, and months away from turning 40, I found myself doom-scrolling and thinking about how women celebrate milestone birthdays. That’s when I remembered the boudoir shoot I had always wanted. ✨

After NASA-level research, I found Petra. Her work instantly stood out, she doesn’t just take photos, she captures the beauty in every woman. What sealed it for me was the phrase on her website: “Just come as you are.” After three babies, that meant everything. No dieting. No “getting in shape.” Just showing up and celebrating the body that carried my children.

I was nervous right up until the session, but Petra and Diana made me feel completely comfortable. And when it was just me and Petra during the shoot, something shifted. I felt safe. Seen. Confident.

Seeing my photos reminded me of who I was before I became a mom and a wife, and helped me reconnect with her. ?

Went to Trilby for a new set of branding photos. In talking with her before the session, she went a completely different direction than I was expecting, but I saw her vision and went with it. The day of the shoot at her studio was just a session of pampering with hair and makeup by Angela (who deserves 5⭐️ on her own) and fun. I have never been comfortable in front of the camera, but Trilby made the session fun and captured images that I love and am proud to use in my marketing!“

“When our son was born on December 1st, it made booking his newborn photos all the more difficult. Everyone in the Killeen-Temple area were booked out for months and had an inordinate fee structure. That was the case until we decided to search in Waco and found Jennifer with I Come to Thee. She quickly fit us I to her schedule and allowed us to capture our newborn and Christmas photos. Her studio was a bit deceptive, as the Grey exterior of the building masked the beauty of her workspace. The rustic appeal was only matched by her genuine southern hospitality. Jennifer's eye captured amazing moments for our family, soothering our 3 week old son in ways we hadn't even learned to do yet. She even had our dog posing properly for our family portrait! Making the short trip to Waco was worth the quality of work we received. I don't think we would ever consider using anyone else here in central Texas for our family photos.“
