“Posting for my wife (Kelly Wilson)…..My story with Elizabeth begins a few years ago in 2019 with our first shoot. I nervously reached out and booked a session. My original intention of the shoot was for a gift, however, that all began to change the day of the photo shoot. Shooting with Liz the first time kick started a bit of an awakening in me. She has such a comforting presence, I shared with her what I had been through and my struggles with body image. She met me in those moments with sincerity and kindness. Her empathy is a beautiful gift that eased my nerves. I began to feel comfortable in my own skin. From the moment we began, my worries faded away. I had given myself permission to explore the woman I had locked away long ago. The photo shoot was an unforgettable experience, complete with belly laughs. Elizabeth has a way of seeing the beauty in everyone she meets and she unwrapped the ways that I am beautiful. I saw myself and my body differently, without judgement and instead with pride and compassion. That photo shoot was a gift for me. We’ve shot together three times now. Each photo shoot in a different stage of finding myself. The most recent being Summer 2022 right after I got married, we shot with no hair, no makeup, just unapologetically me. My husband loves these photos the most and I do too. Words can’t express just how thankful I am for Elizabeth and the art we have created.
