“James Mills was with my family every step of the way after my Mother-In-Law’s tragic passing. From the very first phone call, his empathy and want to help us honor our lost loved one flowed freely. He was attentive but also open and flexible, yet still so very on top of everything. He showed genuine care in everything he did: the materials he prepared, the preparation of her body (embalming, makeup, clothing, etc.), the viewing/wake he helped us put together and decorated for, the traditional Catholic funeral mass that he participated in, the cremation he let us watch, and the selection of keepsakes for multiple family members. He compassionately mourned with us, and we felt it. I cannot say enough about how much easier he made such a horrible time in our lives. Hunter and Alex were also very helpful, attentive, and caring during our mourning process. We will be forever grateful to Scoggins for helping us honor Rosemarie.”
