Went to Clays Cuts for the first time today, and had a great experience! Phil cut my hair, gave me a great cut and really nice guy. Shop also was fun to be in, lots of artwork on the walls. Would be a regular if I lived in Tyler, but just passing through. Highly recommend!
I took my 8 year old son there and he got the best haircut ever! Clay was super fun, engaging and my son told me in the car on the way home, “that guy was REALLY cool!” My son’s haircut was exactly what he wanted and more. I would suggest Clay’s Cuts to anyone in the Tyler area.
I went here once during the corona virus time because my regular place was closed during this time. It is a small shop with Clay and one other gentlemen who actually cut my hair.
The job was fine; it did cost me more than I was used to at my regular place, which is Great Clips. In fact, most of the barber shops now are higher than this guy was.
I stop tipping once they charger over $12. This one was $15 so as far as I am concerned I gave a $3 tip.
