“We worked with RJ and his crew at EXL between January and June 2023 on a 1500sqft addition to our home! We added on a large master suite and laundry room on the 1st level and two bedrooms, one bath, and a flex space on the 2nd level. And a covered 16x8 cedar deck integrated with the roofline!To sum things up, RJ and his crew were awesome to work with!!! Honest, fair, competent, great communication, great workmanship, etc!!! RJ keeps his word and we would definitely recommend EXL Construction!From the very beginning RJ was competent and had an excellent grasp of what we wanted and how to get it done. RJ was fair and flexible in all matters; small changes to plans here and there, fixing mistakes, being upfront and timely about delays or changes, and of course in project pricing/estimates.Communication with RJ was timely, thorough, and honest. He was always willing to hear our concerns or discuss any other project details, and in turn answer and address things in a timely manner.The construction timeline was quick and went smoothly. Framing was completed in just 2 weeks! Materials and quality of workmanship were top-notch. Also, RJs crew and any other subs he had to bring in were always very respectful and kept a tidy workspace.Integration with the existing home was seamless and RJ did a great job finding a brick supplier to get a great match.All in all, we were very pleased with the work done!“
