“We recently completed a full backyard renovation with Aquascapes Pools, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Sean, our project manager, made the entire process genuinely enjoyable. He listened carefully to what we wanted, patiently explained the things we didn't understand, and consistently offered smart recommendations that made the end result even better.

The scope of our project was extensive: a new pool, a patio with a TV wall, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a full regrade of the side yard by the pool equipment (removing the grass and replacing it with blackstar gravel), a pool chiller, an outdoor shower head for rinsing off post-swim, and a poured pad for a future shed. Everything is automated and controllable from my phone, which has been fantastic.

The pool finish is beautiful, the landscaping was done with real attention to detail, and the drainage work and gutters were handled properly, something that's easy to overlook but makes a huge difference long term. Despite the scale of the project, the build only took about 8 weeks start to finish, with Sean regularly checking in on progress to make sure everything was going smoothly. All the crews were great and made sure to listen to even our smaller requests.

There were also a few design changes I decided to make along the way, which required some work to be redone. I of course paid for those changes, but it was never a long, drawn-out process. Sean was completely understanding and would immediately jump into action to make it happen.

They completed both our highly customized pool and outdoor kitchen, and their service, communication, timing, design expertise, pricing, and professionalism were truly top-tier.

We had a very specific vision for our entire backyard, and their team didn’t just understand the concept they contributed thoughtful ideas that took the design to another level. From the pool, raised spa, water and fire features, and landscaping to our custom outdoor kitchen, everything flows together beautifully and feels intentional. They truly brought our vision to life.

Gary, our builder and designer, brought our vision to life beautifully. Joe, our project manager, kept everything moving and handled the subcontractors so well that all we had to do was provide feedback and make our selections. Joel managed the landscaping, Kyle handled the equipment setup and provided a thorough Pool School, and Susan made the entire billing process easy and transparent. Every member of the team, and every subcontractor, was professional and great to work with. Some crews even worked weekends to keep the project on schedule despite periods of rain.

From first dig to enjoying our pool, the process took only seven weeks. That is incredible considering how custom our project was. They coordinated everything, maintained excellent communication, and paid attention to even the smallest details including clearly labeling the pool equipment so we wouldn’t have to guess what anything controls once the team was off-site.

Their integrity also stood out. All change orders were clearly explained, and when we were due credits, they proactively disclosed and applied them without us having to ask. They respected our budget, were honest about costs, and never made us feel pressured. When I struggled to choose our plaster color, they even contacted other clients and arranged opportunities for me to view completed pools in person so I could feel completely confident in my final decision.

Our finished backyard is absolutely gorgeous and turned out even better than we imagined.
