The Tribute at The Colony Golf Club is a beautiful lakeside locale situated on a peninsula, offering two well-maintained courses, driving ranges, and practice areas. Known for its true links style, the course is open off the tee and gets the wind off Lake Lewisville, creating a challenging and fun experience. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in great condition, although the greens may run a little slow after being punched recently. The courses are comfortable to play on and provide great views of the lake, with a Scottish feel that adds to the charm. The practice facilities are tremendous and welcoming staff make visitors feel at home. The clubhouse offers a stunning view during sunset and is perfect for a round of golf or special events. The private room on the top floor features a private balcony, bar, and bathrooms, making it ideal for rehearsal dinners and celebrations. The venue is also praised for its excellent service and gluten-free options available on the menu, including flavorful salads and fresh features, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Although some areas like fairway bunkers and cart restrictions could improve, the overall experience at The Tribute is unique and enjoyable, offering great value and a top-notch experience for golfers and diners alike.
I had such a good experience here! Me and my sisters went hiking on the trail next to the golf course and my little sister hurt her ankle and couldn’t walk. When I explained the situation to the employees, they drove her in a golf cart from the trail back to our car for free. Shout out to Jaimie for being awesome and helping us! Also, the club house was beautiful and the trail was very well maintained.
The staff here is SO wonderful everyone is super nice and accommodating! Now the members on the other hand.. many entitled individuals that don’t care how they treat others. Garrett the PGA golf pro is hands down one of the best teachers you can have. Incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He’s made learning golf not only easy (well as easy as golf can be) but fun🙌 He’s a big reason we keep coming back!

Lauren is truly heaven-sent. From the very beginning, she always found a way to put me at ease and let me know everything would be fine even on my wedding day. Lauren and Kelly were both incredible to work with. They always answered my questions, offered helpful recommendations, were easy to talk to, and very patient.
Our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and they absolutely loved the food especially the salmon and the egg rolls! The bartending and food staff was great as well.
