Another satisfied customer. Dr. Carmichael was quick reassuring and overall great at what he does this was my 2nd visit and its been a smooth process I had iv sedation 2 extractions this time and 2 extractions last time both were fast painless and easy instructions.. I highly recommend.

The woman that was getting me set up for surgery was very rude. Extreme rude tone, while dealing with her the whole entire time very rushed and annoyed for absolutely no Reason. When I had told her that I drink water an hour and a half before surgery, which I Wasn’t aware that you couldn’t do. She got upset, upset, and felt like she was almost trying to embarrass me and make me feel dumb. As I was leaving to tell my father about the situation, she rudely was trying to insert herself into the conversation, letting him know that I had a drink water an hour before. Completely ruined the experience for me and who would want somebody Like that Around when you’re literally about to have your mouth cut open. Will not be going back here again the way I was treated was absolutely unacceptable.

This experience was upsetting and completely avoidable.
I brought my 16 year old in for oral surgery and was clearly told ahead of time that I could go back with him until the IV was placed. When it was time to go back, a dental tech I had never been introduced to appeared irritated that I was accompanying my son. Instead of speaking to me, he asked my visibly anxious teenager if he was scared, as if that justified pushing his parent out of the room.
His tone was rushed and rude, and he was clearly trying to force me out despite prior instructions. I later addressed this with the front desk personnel and asked to speak with a manager. The “manager” was sitting directly behind the desk listening the entire time and chose not to intervene. When she finally did speak, there was no effort to de escalate or take the concern seriously, only a vague promise to “talk to him.”
This was a minor about to undergo surgery. Compassion, communication, and leadership were absent. If this is how anxious teens and concerned parents are handled, people deserve to know before choosing this office.

I had an exceptional experience at Pure Oral Surgery in The Colony! Dr. Carmichael is truly the best oral surgeon in the industry. I had two wisdom teeth removed that had been bothering me for years, and he made the entire procedure feel smooth, fast, and completely comfortable.
I was amazed at how easy the recovery has been — I’m on my third day post-surgery with virtually no swelling and no downtime. Efrain was so kind and reassuring, helping to calm my nerves before the procedure, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming from start to finish.

First and foremost, thank you Dr. Carmichael for a PAINLESS surgery. I followed your instructions and I’m on day 3, swelling is non existent and I feel great. I was beyond petrified going into surgery and everyone at the office did a great job calming my nerves. I cannot imagine a better outcome for myself & cannot imagine seeing a different dentist. Everyone was a class act!

I am the worst when it comes to anything to with mouth pain. I’d like to thank dr Carmichael and his whole staff for such an amazing experience. Literally last thing I remember was raving about the nurse who put my IV in because it didn’t hurt at all and boom next thing I know I’m already in my car. No mouth pain right now but I’m sure I’ll be sore later on. You can either use sun-bit or care credit to help pay and sun-bit is the way to go. This entire office staff deserves awards for their professionalism and dedication to making everyone feel comfortable!
