Always a pleasant time going to see Dave and feeling like the barber actually cares about you being there. Not a hurry up and let me finish your cut just to get another client in the chair. Highly recommended!!
Started getting cuts from Dave back in 2017 while I was growing out my beard. My guy has always been a pro and has me looking my best. During Covid I grew out my hair for 2 years and we lost touch. Once I got tired of it, I messed up getting it chopped off my someone else. Looked terrible - had to find Dave and get me back on track looking my best. Will never make the mistake of going to someone else again. 6 stars
As a queer haircutting specialist in Austin, anytime I’ve needed a barber style fade, I trust that the folks at Sly Fox will take care of me. Because of that, anytime I have a client who wants a particular barber style cut, I will always refer them to this shop. It’s challenging finding a queer/trans safe space for barber cuts even in a town like Austin, and I’ve always valued the integrity and skills of the folks who work here.
