New Hope was truly a blessing during one of the most difficult times of my life…losing my young husband.

When he was placed on hospice, I knew I needed to start making arrangements, and I visited several funeral homes because I wanted to make sure I gave my husband the best send-off possible. One thing that stood out to me was that several of the places I visited felt old and outdated. That just wasn’t what I wanted for my husband. He was so young, full of life, and I wanted a place that reflected that. New Hope felt completely different. It was fresh, beautiful, and had a warm, family-home feeling that immediately gave me comfort.

My mother, Carol Gutierrez was laid to rest on August 13, 2026. Our family was in shock and overwhelmed with her sudden death. Micheal and Monica were both professional and very supportive during our preparations. They handled everything with love and compassion for our family. We are very grateful for the way we were treated and my mom’s service was absolutely beautiful. Thank you Michael and Monica! I also want to say Carol the receptionist was very pleasant and sympathetic for our loss. She made my grandmother feel at ease in her time of grieving.

I am the son in law of Carol Gutierrez whose service was held at New Hope Funeral home in Forney,Tx on August 13,2026. My family and
I were very well pleased with the service and staff and we would like to thank Micheal, Monica and Carol as they went way beyond our expectations handling and meeting the needs for our loved one who passed and made us feel comfortable with the process of making the arrangements. We would recommend New Hope if you ever find yourself wondering who to trust when that difficult time comes.
