“As the homeowner and custom home builder, I wanted to followup with a post about my experience with JSI and team. James and his dad, Jim, both were very attentive to details, payed close attention to my concerns, and put a lot of effort into making my complicated roof project was taken care of to a level which most contractors most likely would have never been able to meet. I was highly impressed with his energy, honesty, integrity and communications. We are approaching the 11 year anniversary of our move in and our roof's shingles started coming apart. We were just outside of our full 10 year manufacturer warranty but JSI (James) assisted me by sending over one of his roofing guys to take a look at the roof. They all agreed that there was something wrong and we contacted GAF who admitted that there was indeed something wrong with the roof. Granule loss was at the level of a 20 year old plus roof and a shiny edge was appearing on the shingles. The roof could have waited a little longer, but if you know me, I want to do things right and I decided it was time to replace the roof. GAF was solid on their admission and approved a partial payment but due to being about a year outside of the manufacturing warranty, they pro-rated the roofing materials voucher at about 1/5 of the value. It was better than nothing and to be honest, more than they had too. The paid for about 20 percent of the cost of the shingles, or roughly. The roof was costly due to the extreme pitches and large surface area, over 9,500 square feet. I took some time to do a very important in-depth review and analysis of the project and had several others bid the roof and met with them all. I was amazed to find fraud and a severe lack of integrity in a few of them and some that just wanted to through a roof on without even a real understanding of their products or the application of the product nor the science or engineering behind them. I spent a few weeks going over underlayment, especially those made for spray homed attics and the building science principles behind them... Our home is spray foamed and the roof materials really matters. JSI is one only a very limited number of roofing contractors that is rated high enough and certified a level that provides the highest level of installation and labor warranties. As a matter of fact, out of over 12 bidders, JSI was the only Master Elite installing contractor that had the training and tenure to offer the highest level of warranty available from the manufacturer, GAF. All the others had not been in business long enough, did not have the manufacturer training and certifications, or did not have the tenure. Just do yourself a favor and get bids, talk to the contractors and when you sit down with all the data, you will come back to JSI. You get what you pay for in more than on way! There is a lot of value here!“

We know without a doubt choosing the Texas Remodel Team was the absolute right way to go. They will 100% be our go-to company if and when we decide to do something else.
