Dr. Chitra Poonkuran is a superb physician. She took extra-time to explain the benefits of behavioral therapy to treat insomnia, hygiene measures and prescribed a drug that will help while I work towards sleep whithout pills.

Not a great experience. But not much different than any other doctor's office I've been through lately. The receptionist don't answer questions and are very short. they don't give very much information about why they're asking certain questions. I kind of act impatient when you question them and the doctors are kind of pushy sometimes but like I said, I haven't found a very good physician that didn't have a terrible office staff. I left because they were pushy about the Covid vaccine and I've returned for lack of a better option.

My partner and I have been going to Kelsey-Seybold for well over a decade. My partner has Kelsey's Medicare Advantage plan. I hear folks complain about Medicare Advantage plans (they are confusing), but Kelsey has literally been a lifesaver for him. We both have seen so many doctors over the years. Nearly all have provided a high quality of care. My only complaint with Kelsey is that they should have a dedicated psychiatric department like Kaiser in California. But that may be a Texas thing where mental health is clearly a very low priority. Some doctors are better than others, but when I didn't like someone, I picked someone else.
