So... I've been to 1 other Aveda- out of state- and by far, this one gave me not only good vibes but executed what I wanted.I called this afternoon and was given an appointment time of 230. I was paired with Alana- aka Lani. I told her what I wanted and she asked detailed questions as this was the first encounter we had had before today. I told her I did have some scalp concerns. She was very knowledgeable but also LISTENED. This is important because sometimes you will tell a stylist all kinds of info and what you wanted will have not been executed. Not the case here. Did not get the cut or color transformation I asked for.Maybe miscommunication and an obvious misunderstanding as the cut is inches shorter than we discussed before she started cutting and the color is not what I wanted.I feel like my money would have been better spent elsewhere as I paid $132.00 and sat 6 hours in the chair.

Made an appointment for a haircut with Lorena, a current student. Arrived and met my stylist. Discussed what I'd like done (remove up to 3" off the ends and reshape my long layers). Instructor came over, reviewed what stylist Lorena and I had discussed. Shampoo, condition, cut and check all completed. Was it fast, not really. But did I get what I wanted at a price I can appreciate? YES! When Lorena finished, she had the same instructor come back and check over the cut before finishing touches (serum, product).
