“This is going to be a bit long, but it's a good, honest review as someone who has had some very traumatic experiences with dental work in the past and is absolutely terrified of the dentist.

I came to this office for a second opinion after being seen at a large office in New Braunfels and was told I needed thousands of dollars worth of work. It took several months to work up the courage to go in. I even scheduled an appointment and canceled twice because I was so scared. But I was honest with the office about why I was canceling and gave them plenty of notice. They were so nice and understanding. Mona at the front desk is phenomenal and deserves a raise! She was so sweet to me during all of my interactions with her. Kimberly was extremely professional and helpful. She broke down everything she was doing and was very patient with me when I explained why I was so afraid. Dr. Johnson was also a sweetheart. He was so kind and not scary at all. He gave me his honest opinion and options on what I could do. Turns out I don't need thousands of dollars worth of work done after all. I'll definitely be going back for the few things they recommended. The office was lovely and I left feeling a lot better about being an adult who is terrified of seeing a dentist.“

“Dr. Velez and his staff are absolutely amazing! My son has special needs and has always been very difficult during dental visits. Previously, we could not even get a cleaning done without tantrums and resistance. We would have to put him under general anesthesia for any dental procedures he needed done. He had a cavity that we could visibly see needed to be filled as well as another that was found via X-ray. We switched to Dr. Velez this year and he suggested to try to get the procedure done in office. My husband and I were very nervous but we wanted to see if our son would cooperate. Well for the very first time ever, my son had his procedure in office and all went well. Dr. Velez and his assistant were awesome! They were patient, gentle and very understanding of my son’s needs. I was given all the information on what needed to be done and all my questions were answered. Overall, I’m very happy with the care my son has received.
