University Health Southwest

University Health Southwest provides primary care for adults and children, along with women’s health, behavioral health and diabetes education services for families on San Antonio’s Southwest Side. The clinic offers on-site lab testing, radiology services and a full-service pharmacy with walk-in vaccinations. Patients receive excellent service from the time they walk through the doors. Nurse Practitioner Jomol Puthen is straight to the point, takes care of patients, and makes them feel comfortable, with jokes too. Dr. Ibiyinka Ladapo is consistently outstanding, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She is patient, kind, thorough, and has great people skills. Dr. L takes time to answer questions and make recommendations. Health has improved tremendously under her care. She is intelligent, understanding, and adaptive with attention to detail and the best bedside manners.
