The most impressive thing about University Hospital is the kindness of everyone. Starting with the man at the information table. Going in for heart surgery is scary. Kindness and smiles is a lovely way to start the process. Each person introduced themselves. They explained what they were going to do.
My life got better, steps got easier thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff.

Dr. Almomani inserted a Mitral clip 6 weeks ago. The surgery was to last 2 to 3 hours. It was completed in 1 hour and 3 minutes. Was discharged the next day. Never had 1 minute of pain or soreness. The staff is amazing. Nurse Courtney, Maddie, you are all exactly where God would have you be. I am forever grateful for the excellent care I received at University Heart and Valve Center.

Dr Almomani and Nurse Courtney are fabulous. I had surgery one year ago to insert two Pascal clips on my mitral valve. My pre op care, the surgery, and my follow up care has been great. Sincerely Larry Spriggs
