I saw Pa SONYONG LEE, when she came in the room and after introductions, I asked if she spealized in gastroenterology, she turned around and looked at me and with an attitude, she stated she worked there for 4 years. Which still didn’t answer the question. From that point on, her whole attitude changed. We proceeded on and I informed her that she was being rude ever since I asked if she specialized, she stated that’s how she was and I can ask anybody there. That didn’t make it right. I should have left at that point, because I knew I was not going to let her treat me, but I stayed. Eventually she said I have a lot of doctors, which was 3 for different reasons, and I should see one of my other doctors, I got up, wished her a blessed day and left. This is the rudest Phycian Assistant, I have ever encountered and after the little interaction I had with her, I still question her ability to treat patients effectively. The front desk staff was professional. I don’t know anything about other providers there. I was not going say anything, but she lied in her summary notes, but I informed the Va of the visit when I left.
Made an appointment for my wife a month ago. Today was the appointment, got call from office to reschedule 2 hours before appt.. Because the doctor is out, next appt. is in over a month. That is ridiculous. THIS OFFICE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATENTS
Went here for GERD. They did an endoscopy. Dr Seema Dar spoke with me for 30 seconds post surgery. Nurse practitioner called me to go over my results. Felt very rushed and uncaring. The vibe was “take these pills and bye”.
Dr Dar is very sweet and I believe she loves her job, but very western medicine — prescriptions fix everything vibes. Even after I explained the prescriptions did not work. :(
Update, charged me 160$ for a 5 min phone call with a nurse. They call it a “visitation”
