I have been here 3 times now and I am NEVER disappointed!! The vibe in there is super comfortable and all the stylists are kind and take their time to make sure your hair is done EXACTLY the way you like it. A GREAT salon for the Queens (and Kings) with natural hair. I got a silk press and trim today.
By far the best hair salon I have ever been to. My hair was washed by Rea and she explained the benefits of each of the 3 shampoos used and then added deep conditioner and turned on a steamer (so comfortable I fell asleep). Ebony was my stylist and she took her time explaining each step to me, product recommendations, spoke with me about my current hair routine, and even sent me products she recommended. For Black women stationed at Fort Sam Houston or Lackland AFB-RUN to this salon, they'll definitely take care of you! (I recommend having your hair styled in 2 strand twists since it can be easily placed into a bun when in uniform).
As they say better late than never. My appointment was with Rea in September 2025 she was amazing. Before my natural hair was washed she talked to me about my hair which I knew I would needed a trim/cut. The chairs, the bowls and the foot stool was different that I have every experienced before. I was totally comfortable and relaxed. The wash, massage and steaming my hair was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
I have been to many hair salons in my lifetime but Rea.Dezell Hair Studio is the BEST!!!
I already have my next appointment, but this time I will be starting my hair loc Journey and I can't wait! 😊😊
