I had my motor give out... in July... in Texas. Was not a fun experience. The AC motor in the attic sounded as if a really old washing machine was bouncing around, and it was even shaking the house. I contacted FLO RITE and they came the very next day. Our technician, Roberto, was very knowledgeable and quick. He explained to me that my motor sat on three prongs. One had snapped, and this is what was causing the thunderous sounds coming from the attic. Due to motor rattling all over the place, the squirrel cage was also damaged.
