They make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door and until you leave.They perform some of the routine eye exams like having you read the eye chart. Then Dr. Diaz takes over to perform the more intricate eye exams like checking for cataracts. Dr. Diaz is very nice and she is thorough. She patiently steps you through each slide of the lenses making sure you see clearly. She is good with the children. I reported a “dark curtain to my regular optometrist and he didn’t see my retina was torn and detached. 2 week later and 100+ beach volleyball games later… Dr Zack Faust listened and found the issue in minutes and then through has network of eye professionals was able to get be schedule same day for emergency surgery. “I recently had cataracts removed in both of my eyes at Lenza Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas. My surgeon was Dr Caldwell of the Eye Associatrs group, and I was extremely pleased with every level of care I encountered from pre-operation to post-op care. From the receptionists who greeted me with a friendly smile to the nurses and attendants in the operating theater, who took such care to be sure I was comfortable, to the anesthesiologist who made it possible for me to actually watch the procedure as it was happening (an optional offering), and to Dr. Caldwell who was very caring and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure. It was done so professionally that I had almost no discomfort. I didn’t even need to take aspirin afterwards. I was amazed at how clearly I could see, especially since I didn’t think my eyesight was that bad. It was like being given 10 more years of life. I will always be grateful to every person who attended me every step of the way.“
