For years, I drove all the way to Houston to make sure my hair and my children’s hair were done right. Recently, I decided to look for a braiding shop closer to home. After calling several places with no answer or delayed responses, Ashley African Hair Braiding was the first to answer. That first impression showed me they were professional and serious about their business. Looking back, I truly thank God the other shops didn’t answer because it led me to Ashley!

Had an hair emergency and Ashley answered my call after hours and calmed me down after i was frantic about not being able to take some braids out of my hair and she said Queen come in tomorrow morning at 7 am( cause i told her I needed help asap..was going out of town) and showed up on time and explained to me why my braids were hard to come out....she took my braids out in 20 mins...when i struggled with one braid for 2 hours lol ..but for real i would go to her again for any braid need..thanks Ashley ❤️
This is the second time my son and I have visited this establishment. Made him feel welcomed the moment we walked in. He was beyond nervous but both ladies are amazing. Love the work they do! Even taking my daughters back once school starts. Best shop in the city hands down!
