I just recently started doing colonics again after my chiropractor took my X-rays that showed I am severely constipated. I learned that closed colonics the way I have always done is the old way. He recommended the open system which is the new way: you are able to listen to your body and engage your colon muscles to release water and waste whenever you feel the urge(best to wait as long as you can). This helps to strengthen and tone your colon muscles, improving your peristalsis (the action of your colon muscles squeezing waste along your colon). Closed colonics can weaken your muscles and impair your ability to have a bowel movement, whereas open colonics actually improve your ability to have a bowel movement. So besides removing toxic waste buildup and reducing pressure in my abdomen that's been making me miserable for so long I am strengthening my pelvic and colon muscles. Which is a major factor in my case. I'd definitely recommend round rock solid health, Sydney is fantastic! She is very informative about the procedure and made me feel comfortable.. they use the Angel of water open system which is supposed to be top notch and they gave you an electrolyte + probiotic at the afterward. Which I think is a nice touch as I always forget to bring mine with me. Absolutely love this place!!
They definitely have saved me you never know how much gut health means to you until you don't have it; feels so good to have everything on track &they've put me right there on the track where I definitely needed to be. I'm looking forward to my next visits with them.
