My 2 year old son has gotten his hair cut at this place multiple times. He always enjoys the car to sit in and all the toys help him get comfortable in the salon. Hair cut is always very quick and as smooth as possible with Ms Linda.

We have been getting our haircuts from Linda for about 38 years. Way before she had her own shop!

I want to start off by saying that I take full responsibility for my actions and have no one to blame for certain things but myself.
On June 20th I went to the piercing shop next door to them and as I was walking to the door, an Asian lady sitting outside asked me if I was going to the salon. I said no and she told me she liked my curls but I needed a trim. Mind you, I’ve only lived in the area for six months and haven’t found a place to get my hair done. So when out of nowhere someone started talking about my curls and how they could make them look better, I got excited. Just my luck, right? Yeah, the thing about luck is that there’s good luck and there’s bad luck.
After my piercings I decided to stop and see the lady. I should have known by the name (when I first saw it, I thought it was a daycare center) and the decor that this place was geared towards children. I should have walked out but didn’t. I wanted to give her and the place a chance. Again, I take full responsibility for not going with my instinct.
Anyway, the lady proceeded to wet my hair with a water bottle and just started hacking at my hair. She didn’t ask me any questions about how I styled it, what I wanted….nothing. Again, I could have said something but I didn’t. She on the other hand talked…..and talked….and talked - and not about hair. She talked about anything and everything BUT hair. I just wanted her to be quiet and focus on my hair.
When she was done I knew I had made a huge mistake. There were sections that were longer than others and it looked a mess. She didn’t even offer to put mousse or gel in my hair. Nothing. At this point, I just wanted to leave. She had already messed up my hair and I wasn’t going to ask her to fix it. By then I already knew there was no way I was going to tip her.
I got up and went to the counter to pay and she told me it was $30 and walked away. I looked at the pricing board and it said $25 for an adult cut. Before I could even ask about the price, the other lady at the counter started messing with the POS and checked “No” for tip, making me think the other lady up charged me to make sure she got a tip.
Either way, I left the place feeling stupid for thinking meeting her was a good thing. I was going to just leave the hair as is and let it grow out since it’s curly and can hide a multitude of sins but I can’t. I’m going to have to get it fixed somewhere else.
What is it our parents taught use as kids?? Stranger danger?? Yeah, I should have remembered that as an adult.

I’ve brought my son here about 5 times now and she always does a great job. He’s 4 and he is still really nervous getting his hair cut, so it’s nice that she’s so fast. Also my husband got his haircut today by Linda as well and loved it. This place is great for the quality of haircut and cheap price.

Great place for adults and children. There are toys for the children to play with there are animal chairs for the children to sit in while they're having their haircut and a TV screen above them so they can watch a movie. Great place especially for children.

Amazing place for first time hair cuts. We have been coming here for years. Our children only feel comfortable with her cutting their hair!

I have been bringing both my sons here for over 6 years. Had great haircuts every time! Now my husband also gets Linda to cut his hair after places like Supercuts do a worse job at a higher cost.

The owner has the nastiest attitude. I called ahead of time to make sure I didn’t need an appt, and they told me to come in because they might close at 3 even though Google says 4 on sats, (I got there at 2) I explained I called ahead of time and drove 20 minutes for this and her response was “I DONT CARE I’m the owner and I can do whatever I want” she proceeded to shut the door in my face. Absolutely disgusting. Don’t waste your time here. Not worth the $6 you’d be saving there compared to other kid haircut places.

This place does not even deserve one star! They need to set up negative star reviews for places like these! I show up and the place looks nothing like the pictures! Not clean, no play area and they are Not profesional at all! I showed the lady a picture of the haircut my daughter wanted, told her exactly how much to cut, because my daughter loves her long hair! I regret paying them because I feel like I paid them to butcher my daughter’s hair! ? I had to ask the lady to stop cutting her hair several times, because she kept ignoring me and continued to cut more and more. I have no clue what she was thinking! I immediately looked for another hair place and decided to go to “cuts and curls for boys and girls”. They were amazing! And even though they were fully booked, the owner made it her personal mission to find a way to fit my daughter in. From now on I will stick with cuts and curls! Stay away from this salon!
